Our 1920 NEWSBOY linen navy, pure linen, deeply radiant navy, pure and pure like the water of a mountain lake. A real classic that can be worn for any occasion.
This lighter outer fabric is perfect for spring and summer. The medium-weight linen fabric is a little firmer and gives the canopy a good stand.
Our 1920 NEWSBOY CAP is a variant of our BAKERBOY. It has 10% more volume in the head than the BAKERBOY. This causes the fabric to fall more loosely and can be pushed aside.
The 1920 NEWSBOY is a casual cap with a solid visor that can be easily bent in shape and a soft, round head sewn from eight spoons. A button on top of the head is sewn on for decoration. The outer fabric is pulled over the screen up to the middle. The cap has a circumferential bar 2 cm wide.
Who does not know the old black and white photographs from the turn of the century. Everyone wore headgear: newspaper boys, port and steel workers, farmers, beggars, criminals, every trade. Only the noble men and women wore hats back then. The numerous variants of the caps were intended for busy life, mostly for work, but also for sport. In the middle of the 20th century, caps were rediscovered, free from prejudice and class, they conquered free spirits and artists. But it still carries a symbol within itself. Because nobody can fail to recognize that a cap wearer exudes an individuality that would be significantly less without it.
