You’ll instantly notice the difference in our premium 101 quality. This heavyweight 418-gram denim is produced by Kaihara in Japan and contains 21% recycled and 20% organic cotton. It’s dipped 13 times in deep indigo dye, giving it that rich, iconic finish. The fabric is raw and crafted from left-hand twill, which starts off stiff but softens naturally over time as you wear it. The 101 R is presented in Dry Blue — a dark, balanced wash that highlights the superior craftsmanship and quality of the denim.
