1967 CPO Shirt 21oz Denim
The CPO shirt is a shirt originally worn by the U.S. Navy and designed for Chief Petty Officers (CPOs). It is a heavyweight shirt, usually made of wool, often worn as a light jacket. Characteristic features include the robust materials, two chest pockets, and the classic collar. Originally part of the uniform, it has found its way into civilian outdoor wear over the years and is a staple in our collection.
The 1967 CPO shirt is a further development of the original and features two additional handwarmer pockets.
The 21oz denim is produced exclusively for us in Japan on vintage shuttle looms at the Collect weaving mill, using a traditional recipe.
